Reels: vertical video from a short brief

October 16, 2026 · Deepscene

Reels on Deepscene are vertical video of any kind. You write a short brief, or paste a script, then build the world and animate each cut. A product still and a person still are optional. Add them when the reel has to show a specific face or a specific pack. The performer on a reel is that reel's own sheet, even if a commercial used the same product.

How to use it

  1. Open Reels.
  2. Describe the piece, or open Templates, pick one, and change the blanks. The brief and runtime are filled in, and you can still edit the brief before the script is written.
  3. Or start from Influencers. Use in Reels opens the brief with that character's persona, look, and idea. Copying the character is free.
  4. Set the runtime. The script follows it. Writing does not spend credits.
  5. Generate the sheets you want, sync the cuts, and animate. Download each cut from its card.

Seedance 2.5 is the usual video model and can hold a cut up to about 30 seconds. Kling 3.0 holds up to 15 seconds.

Where to use it

Use Reels for a feed video, a story, a talking product, or a vertical scene that does not need a full commercial script. Use Commercials when you want concepts, a script, and a longer spot. Use Hypervisuals when the job is a locked before and after on the product. Use AI Clipper when the footage already exists and you need the moments worth posting.

What you pay

Starter is $15 a month for 150 credits. A standard still is 2 credits. Seedance 2.5 at 480p is 2 credits a second, so a 15 second reel at 480p is 30 credits plus any sheets. At 720p the same second is 5 credits. Creator is $39 for 420 credits. Studio is $99 for 1,100. You can cancel any time. There is no setup fee. Download each cut from its card before you post it. The credit table is on pricing.

Questions

Does a reel require a product?

No. Product and person stills are optional. Add them when the reel should stay on a real SKU or a real face.

Can I paste a script?

Yes. Upload script and Edit script are on the prompt card and the script card, same as the other production kinds.
