AI cartoons that stay in one animated look

October 11, 2026 · Deepscene

A Deepscene cartoon draws its own characters and places in an animated look, then films every cut in that same look. It does not fall back to photographic stills. You write the story or paste a script and set the runtime. A three minute cartoon gets about three times the scenes of a one minute one. Characters keep the face and costume on their sheet in every cut.

How to use it

  1. Open Cartoon.
  2. Choose the look before you build cuts. The choices are flat cel, storybook painted, anime cinematic, and toy 3D. Only animated looks are offered.
  3. Or open Templates, pick one, and change the blanks. The brief, runtime, and look are set, and you can still edit the brief before the script is written.
  4. Write the story. Writing does not spend image or video credits.
  5. Generate the cast and the world, then the cuts. Automode can write the script, build the cast and the world, and write the cuts in one go. It stops before the cuts are filmed unless you ask for more and confirm the spend.

Download sheets and cuts from their cards. The same outfit is not regenerated for a second scene if that look already exists.

Where to use it

Use Cartoon for a fable, a kids' short, a comic beat, or any story that must not look like a photograph. Use Explainers when a narrator should teach an idea in order. Use Short and film when the picture should be photographic. Use Episodic when you need several chapters of one show and you are ready to lock a season.

What you pay

A standard still is 2 credits. Seedance 2.5 is 2 credits a second at 480p and 5 at 720p. Starter is $15 a month for 150 credits, about 75 stills or 75 seconds of 480p video. Creator is $39 for 420 credits. Studio is $99 for 1,100. A longer runtime means more scenes, so the credit use follows the length you set, not a flat fee. Cancel any time. No setup fee. See pricing.

Questions

Can I mix a photo face into a cartoon?

The cartoon desk stays in the animated look you picked. It does not drop in a photographic still to stand in for a character.

Does Automode spend on the film immediately?

It stops before the cuts are filmed unless you ask it to continue and you confirm the spend.
