Episodic series, written one episode at a time

October 12, 2026 · Deepscene

Episodic on Deepscene is for a show with more than one chapter. You lock the series world once, then draft each episode against that bible. Later episodes keep the faces, the place, and the rules. A single short is the wrong desk for this. A season is the point.

How to use it

  1. Open Episodic.
  2. Describe the series, or start from the Soul Angel example already on the page: a season with its cast and showroom, and episode 1 ready to open.
  3. You can paste a script and treat it as episode 1. Editing that text updates the episode. It does not invent a second show.
  4. Accept the cast, generate the sheets you want, and add outfits only for looks that are actually different. The same wardrobe is not rebuilt just because a character walks into another scene.
  5. Write the next episode when you are ready. Structure, draft, and polish run per episode. The bible stays put.

Writing the episode does not spend image or video credits. Sheets are 2 credits each at standard quality. Cuts spend the video rate of the model you pick. Download sheets and cuts from their cards, and export the episode timeline when the chapter is finished.

Where to use it

Use Episodic for a pilot plus the chapters after it, a limited series, or a show you will return to next month. Use Short and film when there is only one story. Use AI cartoons when the whole season has to stay in an animated look. Use Explainers when the episodes teach, in order, instead of following a plot.

What you pay

Starter is $15 a month for 150 credits, about 75 standard stills or 75 seconds of Seedance 2.5 at 480p. Creator is $39 for 420 credits, about 3.5 minutes of that 480p video. Studio is $99 for 1,100 credits, about 9 minutes, and it is the plan with room for shared kits and a timeline export. Seedance 2.5 at 720p is 5 credits a second. You can cancel any time. There is no setup fee. Rates sit on pricing.

Questions

Will episode 2 redraw the cast?

No. The sheets you already accepted stay the reference. Generate a new outfit only when the look itself changes.

Is the example series a real project I can open?

Yes. Use this series on the Episodic page opens a finished thread: the brief, episode 1, the cast, the showroom, and the cuts.
